 Media reports and somewhat abrupt combined announcement made by US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley and President Donald Trump confirm the resignation of Mrs Haley from one of the most important positions given to a women candidate during Trump administration.

Nikki Haley few high-profile women in the Trump administration was pretty successful in creating and sustaining a sane-stance for Trump’s extreme policies in UN for short tenure of two years, which cannot be disposed as being an achievement given her strong stance and tenure of her predecessor.

Ms. Haley, seated next to Mr. Trump in the Oval Office, told reporters while declaring her resignation embarked ““It was a blessing to go into the U.N. with body armor every day and defend America, I’ll never truly step aside from fighting for our country. But I will tell you that I think it’s time.”

Trump on the other hand too accepted the resignation declaration praising Mrs. Haley stating “She’s done a fantastic job, and we’ve done a fantastic job together,” and “We’re all happy for you in one way, but we hate to lose you.”

From being Trump critic to Trump nomination as US envoy.

 Nikki Haley before being the voice of America at UN help an important position as the Republican governor of South Carolina. She has been highly noticeable for her early,strong and frequent criticisms of Trump policies. But soon after she was nominated by President Trump for the post of American ambassador to UN.

The interaction between President Trump and Mrs Haley that drove her to take up the challenging position is still a mystery. However, when she took over the role it became pretty evident that she had all the zeal, intellect and most important an inclination for Trump views.

Trump had more than one reason to applaud Mrs. Haley ranging from various controversial policies ranging from recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moving the U.S. Embassy there from Tel Aviv, withdrawing the United States from the U.N. Human Rights Council and cut U.S. funding to countries unwilling to support American including Iran and Venezuela.

Moreover she was also able to gather more confidence from foreign ambassadors even in the terms of dealing with Trump haphazard and inconsistent policy positions and accommodating their concerns at times.

Speculations on Mrs. Haleys abrupt resignation

The sudden announcement of Nikki Haley’s resignation came as a shock for not just white House outsiders but also for White House staff members. But as informed by President Trump, Ms. Haley had informed him roughly six months ago that she wanted to take a break by the time his administration reached its second anniversary. Since there was no concrete reason given for her departure what at least was appeared disrupted, speculations soon emerged around the globe.

Mrs.Haley’s decision to “take a little time off,” led to speculations that her decision may have been due to her being an vocal  infamous “senior official” in the Trump administration. other set of speculations claim that Mrs. Haley was able to get a lot of leverage Tillerson vacuum duration but now with  Mike Pompeo and  John Bolton taking a front foot of foreign policies she felt disinterested and unimportant.

Speculations also emerged on her running for the 2020 US elections, however while addressing media on Tuesday itself she clarified that has no intention of running as a candidate for Presidential elections as of now.
